Kate Guyan is a London-based Set Decorator with over 20 years’ experience across commercials, film and television. She began her career as a Graphic Designer before completing an 18-month Postgraduate Diploma in Prop-Making at RADA, developing a strong knowledge of materials, upholstery and model making.

Kate particularly enjoys working with specialist makers and independent shops, as well as sourcing from auctions and markets. She has a passion for picture research, with a particular interest in the History of Design and Interiors, and has worked across a wide range of historical periods in both studio and location settings.

With HOD experience across Band 2 and Band 3 productions, Kate brings an extensive and well-established network of contacts, including Petty Cash Buyers, Assistant Set Decorators and Production Buyers.
