Kate Guyan is a London-based Set Decorator with more than 20 years experience across commercials, film and television. She started her career as a Graphic Designer before spending eighteen months at RADA on their Postgraduate Diploma in Prop-making giving her solid knowledge of materials, upholstery, and model making. Kate enjoys working with specialist makers and shops as well as buying from auctions and markets.

She loves picture research, particularly the History of Design and Interiors and has worked across a variety of historical eras, in both studio and location settings. Kate has HOD experience working on both band 2 and 3 productions and has an excellent contact base that includes Petty Cash Buyers, Assistant Set Decorators and Production Buyers.
