Mark Scruton
PRODUCTION DESIGNER
Mark Scruton is an award winning Production Designer with over 25 years of experience in the industry.
Mark is best known for designing Tim Burton’s award-winning Netflix series Wednesday, for which he won an Emmy, the British Film Designers Guild Award for Best Production Design, the SDSA for Décor & Design along with a nomination for Excellence in Production Design by the Art Directors Guild.
Mark has also designed season 1 & 2 of the acclaimed DC show Pennyworth for Bruno Heller and Danny Cannon, Andrea Di Stefano’s The Informer, along with collaborations with Paul Greengrass, Errol Morris and Kornél Mundruczó. He has recently finished production of Tim Burton’s long awaited sequel to Beetlejuice.
Other credits include Supervising Art Director on Gravity, Alfonso Cuaron’s Academy Award® winning space thriller which won him an Art Directors guild award and several others. As well as Stephen Spielberg’s Ready Player One, nominated for Excellence in Production Design by the Art Directors Guild and the British Film Designers Guild. Also, as Art Director on multi award winning and box office hits such as No Time to Die, Bend It Like Beckham, Fury, and Wonder Woman 1984.
With Oscar and BAFTA nominations, the art department won the Art Directors Guild Award for Excellence in Production Design.
