Satdeep Grewal

Satdeep began her career in Film and TV in 2022 by training to draught sets and is skilled in hand-drawing as well 3D modelling and draughting in Rhino. Coming from a previous background in graphic design and fine art, she used her multidisciplinary, hands-on approach on high-end Netflix television series The Sandman 2, where she contributed to draughting and concept development in support of Set Decorator Liz Griffiths. Following this she worked on Harry Potter Season 1 for HBO, also in Set Dec with Naomi Moore, where she assisted the whole team with sets across the board and spent a lot of time draughting and modelling props and furniture. Most recently she worked in the Art Department on the Netflix film, Luther 2 and Props on the BBC show Doctor Foster, Season 3. Her work on productions draw on her strong visual sensibility and technical skills, contributing to the development and realisation of richly detailed environments for the screen.

Alongside her work in high-end television and film, Satdeep has worked as an Art Director and Graphic Designer on the feature horror film Ride the Snake, and in the Art Department across a range of short film productions. Satdeep’s practice combines strong organisation skills, conceptual thinking, design, and making to create distinctive visual worlds for film and television.
