Kamlan Man
Kamlan began her career in the Art Department, sidestepping (ten years later) into the Set Decorating Department. She learnt her craft working as Production Buyer, Assistant Set Decorator and Senior Assistant Set Decorator on high end projects until working exclusively as Set Decorator.
Notable Feature credits include Empire Of Light as Set Decorator (Winner BFDG Award for Best Production Design), No Time To Die as Senior Set Decorator directed by Cary Joji Fukunaga, Phantom Thread as Production Buyer, directed by Paul Thomas Anderson, 28 Days Later As a Stand-By Art Director, directed by Danny Boyle
Television credits include five seasons of Slow Horses as Set Decorator (ADG nominated for Excellence in Production Design), The Night Manager as Production Buyer (Bafta Craft Nominated).
With 30 years of industry experience, Kamlan has gathered vast knowledge in delivering both period and contemporary sets across all budgets, but above all she enjoys collaboration with skilled colleagues and technicians; honing detail in tone, colour, light and objects to create complete environments to tell character driven stories.
