Alberto Achar

At the age of 11, while growing up in Mexico, Alberto shot his first feature-length film using his father’s Handycam. Although he was immediately fascinated by the process of image-making, it wasn’t until completing a Master’s degree in Film at Chapman University that he discovered a passion for Production Design and the Art Department as a whole. After moving to New York City, Alberto worked his way up through the ranks on productions including Manifest and Younger. In 2019, he relocated to London, where he has collaborated with inspiring creatives on acclaimed projects including Wuthering Heights, The Sheep Detectives, Hamlet, Killing Eve, Top Boy, The Gentlemen, and the upcoming Netflix adaptation of Pride & Prejudice. Alberto is a firm believer in creating immersive narrative environments that draw inspiration from real-life experiences and the world around us, and remains deeply passionate about the craft of production design.
