Sara ‘Cheeky’ Neighbour

Sara (Cheeky) has a career spanning 25 years. It all began at the BBC, working as a runner on classic shows like ‘Ab Fab’ and ‘Top of the Pops’.

“The training back then was fabulous and you were able to try out work in many departments. I found the Props department and the legendary Bobby Warrens and I was smitten”.

Following this and then gaining a Technical Theatre Arts degree at the prestigious Rose Bruford drama school Cheeky started working in the wonderful world of commercials. During this time she began a long term collaboration with inspiring Production Designer Nick Ellis, which led to their first feature film together; the much loved ‘Bend It Like Beckham’.

Cheeky has continued to work on hundreds of commercials with many high profile clients and production companies as well as set decorating films and television dramas.
