Art Department champions female-focused Puma campaign

Look out for the work of Art Department’s Sarah Musal (Art Director), Simon Linzell (Props), and Oliver Gillen-Toon (Art Department Assistant) on the new campaign from global sports brand Puma, She Moves Us. The ad celebrates women’s achievements in sports and culture and is directed by Yaara Sumeruk for production company Sweet Ricky/Falca.

The campaign brings together Puma’s top female brand ambassadors including models Cara Delevingne and Winnie Harlow, as well as WNBA star Skylar Diggins-Smith, and fitness expert and LGBTQ rights activist Bethany C. Meyers. The narrative focuses on how Puma’s female ambassadors made it to the top in their respective fields—what inspired them to become who they are today, the women who helped them, and how they overcame challenges in their personal lives and careers.

The brand debuts a minute-long video featuring Dua Lipa’s single Electricity. “Sharing stories of success is all part of changing the narrative, especially in fields like sports and entertainment that have tended to amplify the accomplishments of men,” commented Lipa. “Women are already nailing it across the board and celebrating their achievements is exciting and empowering. It also encourages those rising up to aim for the stars. That’s why I’m so grateful to PUMA for including me in their She Moves Us campaign. Now let’s show the world what we are capable of!”
