I started working in pop promos, when MTV was starting out. My first job was for  Ah Ha “Take on Me”,  and the next  took me to Jamaica to film Eddie Grant “Electric Avenue”.

From then on I worked with all the major stars of that
period: Wham, George Michael , Paul Simon, Chevy Chase, and mostly with Duran Duran, which took me to LA where I worked with the Scorpions amongst other bands of the time, and with top directors Steve Barron, John Macdonald and Julian Temple .

I’ve worked in set decoration on small and big budget films – most recently I worked on the locations set decoration additional photography for Wonder Woman 1984.

Currently I mostly art direct and style commercials. I always welcome the opportunity to work with other designers and new directors on both long and short form projects.

SKILLS:
  • Highly skilled at location dressing – I have a great crew who I work with all the time,
    who are very conscientious and hard working
  • I always work with the same excellent construction company
  • I have good, long standing relationships with all the prop hire companies. In an emergency I have their personal numbers, so can normally sort any problems that arise last minute
