I’m a 27 year old Art Department Assistant, who has spent the last two years making five stop-motion animation films. This has taught me a great deal about set design.
I started working in film in 2019 as a production runner for ITV’s Love Your Garden and as an in-house runner for SMUGGLER. During this time I worked on a number of shoots, including Benji Weinstein’s ThinkBox commercial and an HSBC advert.
In late 2019 I moved to Glasgow to make my first film, ‘Lacrimae’. Since then I have made four more films, including a music video for Tommy Down’s song Mrs Blue. My practice so far has been inspired by music and the desire to express my reality in some way.
From these films I’ve become fluent in Premiere Pro, After Effects and Dragonframe. I can solder, gradient dye, and am comfortable with power tools. As a hobby, I have 9+ years of experience shooting film on SLR and medium format cameras.
