Amanda McArthur

PRODUCTION DESIGNER

Leading Production Designer Amanda McArthur has almost thirty years’ experience in the business, dividing her time between film, theatre and commercials. Originally from New Zealand she trained as an agency art director before heading to the UK where she studied at the National Theatre and Royal Exchange and worked for Granada TV and the BBC.

Her work on films includes Caitlin Moran’s film How to Build a Girl, St Trinian’s, Penelope, Bill & Ted’s Bogus Journey and The Festival as well as TV dramas such as Neverland.

Amanda has evaluated the National Film & Television School’s MA production design course for ScreenSkills.
