Alberto Achar

At the age of 11 while growing up in Mexico, I shot my first feature-length film using my Dad’s Handycam. Although I was instantly fascinated with the process of image making, it wasn’t until undertaking a Master’s Degree in Film at Chapman University in California that I discovered a passion for Production Design and the Art Department as a whole.

Moving to New York, I was lucky enough to be able to climb the ranks on wellknown shows such as NBC’s Manifest and Paramount’s Younger. In 2019, I crossed the pond and settled down in London, collaborating with some truly inspiring people on highly acclaimed projects including Killing Eve, Back to Life, Top Boy, and Guy Ritchie’s upcoming TV series The Gentlemen.

I am a firm believer in the process of creating immersive narrative environments, which draw inspiration from our surroundings and real-life experiences. There is nothing else I’d rather be doing.
